The Gospel

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.
Romans 1:16-17 (NIV)

Testimony

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1-2 (NRSVUE)

Our Statement of Faith

What we believe about Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living Almighty God.  We believe that Jesus Christ died for the salvation and redemption of the world. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God in the Holy Trinity, the Living Word of God that dwelt upon us. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ secures one’s eternal home in heaven and unlocks the power to live for Him while on earth. We believe that in accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you are saved from shame, condemnation, sin and hell. We also believe that one’s acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior means that you have the Holy Spirit as a gift to help guide and direct your life here on earth. In living for Christ, you are made more holy and into the likeness of Jesus Christ as you walk out your journey with Christ.  This requires surrender, submission, obedience, and sacrifice of your own will for that of God’s for your life. This is the sanctification and perfecting process.
